A Meeting of Llangarron Parish Council was held on Wednesday, 10th June, 2015 at Llangrove Village Hall at 8.00 p.m., with Mr. P.J. Bailey in the Chair.

Present at the Meeting were Councillors Bailey, Fisher, Hayward, Hitchen, Morehead and Rosser. Also present was Hfds. Ward Councillor for Llangarron, Miss E. Swinglehurst and there were 5 members of the public present.

Apologies of absence were received from Councillors Cooper, Jones and Joseph.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

R. Flood, B. and B. MacDonald, Y. Mutton and J. Oakley – re Planning Application P150911 (Revised Plans) Land to rear of Hazelnut Cottage, Llangrove.

Declaration of Interest

P.J. Bailey – Discussion re Planning Application P151462 – The Butts, Llangarron, Ross on Wye, Hfds.

Planning Applications

P151219 – Proposed demolition of existing porch and erection of new single storey side extension at The Homestead, Three Ashes, Ross on Wye, Hfds. for Mr. and Mrs. Phillips. The Parish Council have no objections to this Planning Application.

P151462 – Shelter for tending livestock and as a store (retrospective) at The Butts (small holding), Llangarron, Ross on Wye, Hfds. for Mr. G. E. Lane. The Clerk explained background to this application in that the applicant had followed all correct procedures and obtained Prior Approval from Planning Dept. who had also agreed amendments. However, on completion of the build the Planning Dept. had suggested a retrospective application to regularise the build. The Parish Council have no objections to this Application as it stands. Clerk requested to liaise with applicant to request that some planting was carried out around shelter to provide screening.

P150911 (Revised Plans) – Proposed erection of 6 dwellings at Land to rear of Hazelnut Cottage, Llangrove, Ross on Wye, Hfds. for Mr. L. Freeman. Whilst the Parish Council are unhappy with the development of town style houses within the Village, we reluctantly accept the latest revised plans. In order to mitigate the resulting increase in traffic, we would look for some form of contribution towards Speed Indicator Device (SID).

There being no further business, the Meeting was closed by the Chairman at 9.05 p.m.

The date of the next Meeting to be Tuesday, 30th June, 2015 at 8.00 p.m. at Llancloudy Chapel.
