Minutes of an Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council held on
Thursday 22nd March 2018 at 7.00 pm in Llangarron Village Hall
Councillors: Barbara Fisher (Chairman), Paul Bailey, Adrian Hitchen, Michael Jones, Paul Lodge, Stewart Morehead, Terry Thomas, Judy Turner, Liz Wright.
In attendance: Lynda Wilcox (HALC) … Admin Cover.
1. Apologies for absence … There were none –all members were present.
2. Declarations of interest & written requests for dispensation … There were none.
3. Finance … HALC admin cover for meeting … £150 + mileage.
3.1 It was RESOLVED to access HALC admin cover for the meeting.
A resolution was passed to exclude the public during the following confidential item
4. Employment Matters:
4.1 Members received an update from Lynda Wilcox on the continuing process by HALC to recruit a new clerk.
4.2 Consideration of action on correspondence relating to the outgoing clerk:
4.2.1 Members received an update from the Chairman and RESOLVED to take appropriate action in accordance with advice from the Council’s insurers (AON) and solicitors (Kidwells).
5. The date of the next scheduled meeting was noted as:
5.1 Tuesday 27th March at 8.00 pm in Llangarron Village Hall.
